Standing underneath a giant trellis covered in kiwi. I always wondered what kiwi plants looked like. http://yfrog.com/dylolelj (16:33)
Bought myself a shower curtain, bath rug, & towel: I'm now officially livin' the life. Tomorrow Paris, then Nîmes and mandolinesdelunel.com. (17:00)
Wow do I hate time zones and changes. I'm very confused about what time it is now. I should probably trust the iPhone, but none the less. (10:21)
Ah, sticking your feet into a fresh, young, virgin pair of socks. (I got ~20 new pairs before leaving, and alas I've just put on the last.) (04:18)
This is actually real. Tornado Rider. Wow, Rushad. http://yfrog.com/08pqbwj (via @kimberludiker) —CritterEldridge
Just got back from this. It was pretty ridiculous. I waited in line for a coule hours to try and get an extra place, there ended up being three, and I was first in line. At the same church in Whig I got to climb up into the rafters and see
all kinds of cool shit in yesterday. Definitely my favorite place so far in Rouen.
Waiting to see whether I might be able to sneak last-minute into what I understand to be a horse ballet. (10:19)
Never thought I'd be a plaintiff in a federal lawsuit, suing the government, but I've just signed the papers to make it so. —ewagoner
Holy shit good day today. Got into a special tour of one beautiful old abbey. http://yfrog.us/0kvg0z http://yfrog.us/4jx1vz (15:05)
But the REAL question is: Why the hell are these chunks of cinematic shite so popular? The answer is simple: American guilt. We’re all thrashing around in a culture built on Me-ism—I want mine, I’ll do whatever it takes to get it, and fuck everybody else. And deep down in places we don’t talk about at parties, we KNOW we’re steeped in a moral wasteland, and that we’re little better than most criminals for spending our time worrying about how many panda-skin Jimmy Choos we can buy while a single mother of four works three jobs and still can’t afford to have a fucking cavity filled.
These cookies might be the death of me. Sooooo good. http://yfrog.com/0jbilhzj (11:12)

All right, this iPhone thing is pretty cool. I'm a bit suprised I held out this long. http://yfrog.com/2mcipj (11:21)
My iPhone and ADSL are here. I'm afraid to open the boxes and set them up. (09:18)
I'm a little bit embarassed that I even noticed. But today's my three year anniversary on this twitter thing. (02:58)
@MFMApparel I think that one's my favorite of the shirts I've got. (09:37)
No iPhone yet (fingers crossed). I'm entertaining the possibility of using @punchbrothers 'Dead Leaves…' for my ringer: http://bit.ly/1yyi40 (14:21)
Baguette aux céréales + tranche du jambon cuit supérieur + beurre. My mouth is jumping all over the place. (12:00)
School is like starting life with a 12-year jail sentence in which bad habits are the only curriculum truly learned. I teach school and win awards doing it. I should know.
Soundchecking now.... Can we play here every night??? http://moby.to/ws5ypr —punchbrothers
Up and Around the Bend, Béla Fleck, Drive.
°I've logged 47474 tracks on last.fm (née audioscrobbler) since april 2004. (08:17)
Also, the first chilly day of the year. Makes me happy. There was a beautiful frost on the ground this morning, now full warm sun and 39º. (03:50)
I though I was just a fucking idiot for missing two busses in a row. But no, apparently all the drivers went on strike today. (03:45)
I've been mildly obsessed with getting an iPhone for the past few days. Mainly because these French people have made it so goddamn hard. (03:25)
⇧ Ctrl ⏏, Hallelujah. (16:58)
I can't stop eating chocolate petit beurres. (11:47)
Paris to London Cycle route. I wish this shit was built right now. http://bit.ly/2ijoCT (01:12)

After those, the things I could use in no particular order: A fridge and stove. Access to a violin and piano. Cookware? A bus card? (12:44)
I *almost* got a phone and internet today. So close. Hopefully it'll go through by saturday. (12:39)
Mandolin photos. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kjell/sets/72157617021039675/ (07:46)
Sorry for the horrendously focused photos, but my camera has been acting funny. Finished the mandolin a few weeks ago before heading for france, was a bit slow with the uploads.
French polished. I signed the inside, but you have to hold it a bit crooked to see. Looks a bit funny without a label in there.
Hi there Internet. How've you been? Also: free wifi at mcdonalds, but the chicken nuggets are shit over here. (08:23)
